April 2, 2020 More scattered but still opportunities to gather
April 2, 2020, 9:00 AM

My first Sunday message that we were not able to gather due to COVID-19 concerns I talked about being the scattered church.  We have long said the church is more than what happens inside the four walls, at 10 AM on Sunday mornings.  Now we are getting a  chance to test it.

But we have not disbanded!  With the modern technology at our disposal we still can and need to gather.  In fact, we are doing just that on Sunday morning and Wednesday night, just not in person.  We gather via computer or smart phone so that we might interact and share in the Word as it is taught and preached.  And it is no less important in these days, in fact more so.

It takes  a little bit of patience but it really isn't that hard.  If you are trying to connect and having trouble please do not hesitate to contact me.  Presently we gather at 10 AM via our church facebook page; find the live video link at the appointed time.  On Wednesday we gather via the Zoom app.  I send a link via email and  you can connect by computer or smartphone if you want video and audio, or there is a call in number if you want to join by phone.

We are a bit more scattered than usual right now, and we miss being able to gather in person.  But the church is still gathering; I haven't missed a service yet.  It is up to each of us to do our part to stay connected.

Philippians 1:3-6.
